Irina A. Korbut at the “Best teacher of a discipline in English” competition

Irina A. Korbut, Associate Professor of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology with the course of Advanced Training and Retraining of Gomel State Medical University, has been awarded a third degree Diploma at the IV All-Russian competition “Best teacher of a discipline in English”.

The event was organized by Krasnoyarsk State Medical University named after Prof. V. F. Voino-Yasenetsky of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation as a part of the V International Scientific and Pedagogical Forum “Integration of Medical and Pharmaceutical Education, Science and Practice” in the “University Pedagogy” series, which was held in Krasnoyarsk on 4–6 February 2026.

The competition was conducted online but retained the format of live presentations, where participants defended their teaching projects and answered questions in real time. The expert commission was composed of professors of linguistics, medicine and pedagogy from leading universities of the Russian Federation. They highly appreciated the quality of the participants’ work.

In commission’s sight, the competition entry demonstrated a strong balance between teaching of theoretical aspects and practice-oriented training of students at Gomel State Medical University.
