The International Office provides organizational, technical, and informational support for international activities aimed at integrating the university into European and global educational systems, obtaining additional opportunities for accelerated development and competitive advantages for the university and strengthening the authority of Gomel State Medical University in the international arena.

MAIN AREAS OF ACTIVITY OF THE INTERNATIONAL OFFICE

  • Development of programs of international cooperation, expansion of international partnership, interaction with foreign universities and scientific organizations, participation in international associations;

  • Monitoring of contracts and agreements of the university with foreign partners in the field of international scientific activity, academic mobility of teaching staff and researchers;

  • Development of international academic mobility and improvement of academic reputation of the university;

  • Sending university staff abroad for internships, lectures, scientific research consultations, participation in international forums, conferences and seminars within the framework of international contracts and agreements, as well as international academic exchange programs;

  • Sending students abroad for practical trainings to partner universities, as well as participation in international scientific, cultural and sports events;

  • Research, synthesis and dissemination of international experience;

  • Reception of foreign delegations, organization and participation in international conferences, exhibitions, forums, and research projects;

  • Preparation of information, reference and reporting materials on the international activities of the university.
