The Department of Internal Diseases № 2 was established in 1994. Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor Eric Nikolaevich Platoshkin was appointed Head of the Department. The Department of Internal Diseases № 2 had a course of dermatovenerology. Since 2018, the department has been renamed the Department of Internal Medicine № 2 with the faculty's advanced training course. The department has trained more than 40 clinical residents, including those from foreign countries. The department trains scientific staff, and there is a student scientific society.

• Republican Center for Radiation Medicine and Human Ecology,
• Gomel Regional Tuberculosis Clinical Hospital.
