A considerable part of classes are held in the wards of Gomel Teaching (University) Hospital, where future doctors learn to interact with patients.

One of the main disciplines - propaedeutics of internal medicine, is taught by one of the premier and most respected professors, Honored Doctor of the Republic of Belarus Leonid Ibragimovich Druyan.

—  We teach how to assess a patient's condition, paying attention to each symptom and demonstrating its clinical significance. I try to teach the students using specific examples from my personal practice. Each time, I recall something and share cases typical of a particular disease.

The mentor himself continues his path to perfection. Four years ago, he completed English courses and now teaches in English to students from India, Syria, Libya, Yemen, Sri Lanka, as well as Nigeria, Cameroon, and other African countries.
