A warm dialogue between schoolchildren and international students of Gomel State Medical University in Vetka

A vibrant and warm welcome was held between international students from Gomel State Medical University and schoolchildren at Vetka Secondary School No. 1 named after A.A. Gromyko.

Guests from Turkmenistan, Nigeria, and Morocco were greeted like true friends!

The schoolchildren and students chatted, laughed, shared stories, and even sang the legendary "Katyusha" together. The program was impressive: a tour of the school and the school's military and labor glory museum, exciting and fun competitions, rifle and pistol shooting at an electronic shooting range, a skiing trip through the winter courtyard, and a friendly tea party. The students talked about their countries, cultures, and traditions, and also shared advice on applying to medical school—excellent career guidance for future doctors.

Such meetings aren't just a simple exchange of knowledge, but a true bridge of friendship between peoples! Thank you to all the participants for the warm atmosphere, smiles, and inspiration!

Then the international students visited Vetka's pride – the F.G. Shklyarov Museum of Old Believers and Belarusian Traditions, renowned far beyond its borders. They took a fascinating tour, saw towels, icons, printed books from past centuries, and much more, and learned about the everyday life of the Old Believers.

This visit was a wonderful example of how communication and interest in other cultures bring people together. A visit to the Old Believers Museum complemented the meeting perfectly, allowing the foreign guests to gain a closer understanding of Belarusian culture. The day left a lasting impression on all participants.
