We sow, we winnow, we plant, Happy New Year!

Another generous evening faded into the darkness of the winter night. No problem, our university has a tradition: to celebrate the morning of generosity, heartily wishing colleagues and friends a Happy New Year lavishing our best wishes. 

The university's student council members dressed up in traditional Christmas costumes: the Goat, the Gypsy, the Generous Peasant and in place of the Bear our sunny joyful Lynx went to give the gift. With chants, songs and wishes for happiness, health and wealth, the "kalyadoushchyki" (carols) visited the staff's offices.

According to our ancestors, Kolyada is a time of creation for a new world and the birth of a new sun. Our ancestors revered the sun and believed in the need to ensure prosperity for the year by programming all areas of life.

May the coming New Year be generous and successful for the staff of Gomel State Medical University!
