Joint efforts against snow

Approximately 20,000 Gomel residents took part in a snow cleanup event held in our city on January 10 according to the press service of the Gomel City Executive Committee. Staff and students, as well as a friendly team from the Military Department and the Simulation and Certification Center of Gomel State Medical University, joined the first regional winter cleanup event. Since Saturday morning, the heart of our university the adjacent grounds of the building at 5 Lange Street have been cleaned.

Our out-of-town and international students living in the dormitories of Gomel State Medical University also contributed to the common cause. From early morning the students went out to clear snow, cleaning the area around the dormitories, steps and paths.
