Chess battles at Gomel State Medical University

As part of the annual year-round spartakiad, a thrilling chess competition was held among the faculties of Gomel State Medical University. The event brought together participants from five teams.

For several hours, the students demonstrated their tactical and strategic planning skills, demonstrating a high level of skill, strategic thinking, and team spirit.

As a result of intense struggle, the best team was the Faculty of Diagnostic Medicine, which confidently took first place.

Second place was taken by the Faculty of General Medicine, 2^nd stream, and third place was taken by the Faculty of General Medicine, 1^st stream.

Attention was also earned by the students of the Faculty of International Students and of the Faculty of Preventive Medicine, who demonstrated a worthy game and showed high level of sporting skill, only slightly ceding to the leaders.

All participants were awarded gifts and souvenirs from the primary trade union organization of students of Gomel State Medical University and the primary organization of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union of Students of Gomel State Medical University.
