International students visited Gomel Regional Museum of Military Glory

On a day preceding the Victory Day celebration international students of Gomel State Medical University visited Gomel Regional Museum of Military Glory.

Students from India, Pakistan and Arab countries were seeing around with interest the museum's exposition, reflecting heroic events of military history of our homeland from ancient times to the present day. Future doctors got acquainted with exhibits related to events of the First World War and could see firsthand photographs and documents representing heroic defense of our city from the Nazi invaders during the Great Patriotic War.

The first-year students were left with an indelible impression by visiting the museum halls bearing witness of the Nazis atrocities on our land and heroic struggle of Belarusian people against the Nazi invaders.

Future doctors were especially interested in museum stands displaying the feat of doctors and nurses during the Great Patriotic War and local exposition in the ambulance car, located on the open area of the museum.

Students were also impressed by exhibition "Partisan Town" which clearly shows how heroes of the struggle for freedom from the German invaders lived during the heroic years.

In the open area of the museum, future doctors were shown more than 40 units of military equipment, carefully preserved by the staff of Gomel Regional Museum of Military Glory.
